The Secondary Technical School Hranice
The history of the Secondary Technical School is longer than 60 years. The school educates 15-18 year-olds in the following studying programmes:
Four-year Certificate Programmes
- Applied Chemistry
- Furniture & Woodwork Production
- Construction Materials
- Fire protection
- NC & CNC Engineer
Three-year Apprentice Programmes
- Locksmith
- Metal Cutter
- Plumber
Both general and specific subjects are taught in IT and multimedia classrooms, practical lessons take place in school laboratories, special training workrooms or directly in the production companies. Graduates can take advantage of their knowledge and skills in large engineering, production and construction companies or they can continue their studies at universities. The school provides also education for adults under their Life-Long Learning Programme and regularly holds projects for pupils from primary schools to evoke their interest in technical fields.
