Region of Veneto - Department of Labour
The Regional Department of Labour has the task to promote the employment, the inclusion and the economic development in the region.
It performs this function by organising information and guidance services for education, training and work, promoting active employment policy measures such as vocational training, training for apprentices and targeted measures for the re-employment of workers.
In particular it promotes guidance and job placement actions for those who are in a position of weakness in the labour market.
The role of employment support is carried out by coordinating the provincial employment services, to which unemployed people can apply directly in order to be accompanied in finding employment. Within the Regional Secretariat and the other Departments of the Deputy Major of Education, Training and Employment, it manages the Regional Operational Programme of the European Social Fund.

En.A.I.P. Veneto - Regional Agency of Vocational Training
ENAIP (ACLI National Agency of Vocational Training), founded in 1951, is a non-profit organisation recognised by D.P.R. (Presidential Decree) of 4/5/1961. Today ENAIP represents one of the most important vocational training organisations in Italy. Its importance depends on: its financed activities, the interventions it carries out, the clients/ users involved, its structures, its human resources and its technical and organisational structure. ENAIP is organised as a network association, divided into legally independent regional bodies.
ENAIP VENETO - the Veneto Region’s Agency - is composed by 18 operative units and operates with 350 workers, who meet the requirements of the factories, institutions and local organisations, enterprise unions and associations, private users, both young people and adults.
ENAIP VENETO main activities concern:
- basic, second level and post graduate Vocational Training (EQF level n. 2, 3, 4, 5),
- continuous training and updating, training for trainers,
- re-qualification and re-insertion for the unemployed workers or workers at risk of unemployment, and in general, for socially and professionally weak groups,
- professional orientation for users in transition,
- transnational projects: Youthstart, Adapt, Integra, Now, Horizon, Equal, Leonardo Da Vinci,
- development and cooperation project: initiatives to support the development of the vocational training in Eastern European countries and in non-European countries,
- territorial observatory and analysis of needs,
- network and territorial development.
